Breast Milk is the best food for babies. Wellington Regional Hospital is looking for Breast Milk donors to support our newborns and their whānau while inpatients at Wellington Regional Hospital.
If you are interested in offering your time and surplus miraka (milk) to Wellington Regional Hospital Maternity please email us at DonorMilkMaternity@ccdhb.org.nz with your name, date of birth, email address and contact phone number.
A Lactation Consultant from the hospital will be in touch with you to complete a Health & Lifestyle questionnaire and arrange for you to have a blood test.
Please note, that due to the costs of that screening process, the minimum volume of donated milk preferred is 1 litre per month.
